What is DraftDynasty?
DraftDynasty is a free browser-based AFL fantasy dynasty game. You draft a club from historical player seasons, simulate matches and manage that club across multiple consecutive seasons.
Can I play by myself?
Yes. You can control one club while AI controls every opponent, or invite friends into the same lobby and let AI fill any open teams.
Does it use real AFL data?
Players, positions and individual scoring samples are based on historical AFL seasons. Because a dynasty simulates fewer games than a full AFL season, a player's simulated average may vary from the listed season average. Their real-season availability also affects whether they play, so a balanced bench matters.
Do I need an account?
No account is required to play. A verified account is only needed if you want completed dynasties to count toward your lifetime statistics and Hall of Fame record.
What happens if I leave a game?
Active games are saved so you can reconnect with the same browser and lobby code. Timed games continue to resolve expired human decisions; untimed games wait for the player.
